Hi

Before burning right click the mpg file(s) and select Create (new) frametable

This should re-sync eveything.

Tip:  if you are not doing so use rewriteable discs (DVD-RW) until you have the final version of what you want then burn to DVD-R or DVD+R.  You can then re-use the DVD-RW's

John,

Thank you for your respnose. I tried doing what you suggested and it seemed to put everything even more out of sync. I thought maybe it would seem like that until I burned it, but I tried burning and the problem was worse. Maybe I'm doing something incorrectly? In the edit window I am right-clicking on the object and choosing creat (new) frametable. Is that all there is to it? Out of curiosity, what does that do? I don't know what a frametable is. This is becoming very frustrating, as I am a new-comer to the world of video editing and do not even know where to start with my trouble-shooting. The part that I can't understand is that everything seems to be working fine inside Video Pro X3 but it does me no good if it doesn't translate to the outside world.  Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for your response.
