I've noticed for a time that the folder size in my c:\...documents\audio temp folder has grown to 100G. Can I safely clean it out? Do I just drop it into the recycle bin, or is there a way to do it within Magix Video X6.
The AudioTemp folder stores a lot of files which are used in projects, eg Soundtrack Maker audio files.
If you have retained old projects and and need to go back to them, then it is not safe to empty this folder until you have backed up the projects correctly ie using the Backupto folder option in VPX .
Backing up using this option places all ther required filess for a project in the folder specified by you.
If you have no old projects saved then you can safely clean out this folder after you have checked there are no current files required for any current project you are working on.
Always double check that nothing is going to be removed that you need.
