Hi,

The record is done in the segment you have defined for reading : left and right orange milestones on the time axis on the upper part of the windows which indicates the time duration.

Reduce the scale (zoom), extend the right milestone at the duration you need, place your reading cursor at the beginning. The record will stop at the right milestone.
