Could somebody please confirm this bug (in MEP 2021 and MMS2024).
Right Click on the audio track, choose "set Audio Video Offset".
Click on either of the 5 forward or 5 backward buttons. Offset displayed is only 4.

More info: when I press the 5 frames button/s again, I get a jump of 5 frames. First press gives 4 frames offset, next press gives another 5 frames offset for a total of 9.

I "adjusted" each time I bought the video into a movie.
I've tried a bunch of files; I think I have nailed it down to frame rates. If the frame rate is 25 or 50fps, no problem. If the frame rate is 2997, 5994 or 23976, variable or fixed, I get only 4 frames offset per click.
Also, if I click for a single frame offset to "top up" to 5 frames, clicking the 5 frame button to make the offset increase further will increment in 5s. But, if I reverse the offset back to the other side, the offset goes down by 5 until the neutral point, then changes back to 4.
I've tried a program reset, no change.
As an aside, I tried to use Handbrake to convert a VFR to CFR and it wouldn't do it, even with "2997" and Constant ticked. It still came out with the original VFR. Crazy. I had to use the ResampleFPS filter in AVIDemux.

That confirms my suspicions. You should find if you click the +5, or -5 buttons, sufficiently in one direction you should see a 5 frame jump.

These frames rates that are not whole frame numbers cause other problems as well. Remember the drone panning problem?

I would ask why don't the camera manufacturers drop the NTSC oddball framerates for progressive video - it is not needed.
The only time these odd frame rates are necessary is for NTSC TV broadcast. which is normally Interlaced video to reduce bandwidth, the fractionally lower frame rate is to accommodate, and reduce interference by, the Chroma signal.

Using 29.97 here.
I just checked in VPX15 and MS2024. Clicking on 1 frame gives me 0; click again and I get 1 frame (either direction). 5 gives me 4 the first time.
I watched the waveform and it did move 1 frame when the first frame is clicked.
Try this in a 29.97 project:
For me, it's 00:00:00:04. Why not 5?
