audio in video pro x2

i am not able to hear any audio from the video files that i imported t o video prop x2. .how do i correct this. i shot all of my work on a camcorder. would that have anything to do with it?

What is the sampling frequency and bit depth of the audio in the files you are trying to play, and what sampling frequency is set in VPX2? Ideally both should be 48kHz, 16 bit, or, less commonly 44.1kHz, 16 bit. If you're not sure about this for your video files, find and download the free MediaInfo utiity, install it and point it to one of your files.

There certainly should not be any inherent problem in importing files from a camcorder; I do this regularly.
