HI!!

ASIO drive, windows 7, Samson G track – distortion noise problem when recording vocal!

I am having this problem for last two days. I tried every possible way to solve the problem but I only end up wasting my 2 days of time. I tried ASIO4All V.2 for my drive it does not work. When I set to Creative ASIO (which is my soundcard) it works fine but I have the following problem. Since I bought a new cpu which is Windows 7 operating system. I am having problem configuring my mic to MMM 17.

Im using magix muslim maker 17 premium. Im using Samson G Track usb microphone. I have a problem when I recording voice. (midi is fine). When I record the voice on an empty project, the voice is fine but when I record the voice on a project I have created and try to record the voice, I have a much distorted noise. Also the mic records not only the voice also the other music on the project even though all the speakers are mute (although the mic is not set to record any other than the voice).

Please I need your help Please Please!!!!!

I will explain in detail if anyone willing to help. Thank you very much in advance!!!

My computer configuration as follows:

Hi,

I had the same soundcard on my previous PC with MMM 15. I don't understand what entry you use to record.

If your mic is an USB mic, your entry is not Creative ASIO 3-4 (stereo). I guess you have to directly select your mic with through it owns driver  at MMM level. What choices have you in section 1 Audio driver?

Your mic is not linked to your soundcard? Perhaps you can listen it through your soundcard. What recording entry have you selected on the control panel of your sound card?

Regards

Hi! thank you very much for answering. I really appreciate it.  Where can i find an own ASIO drive for the USB mic?  yes i can choose the usb mic's own drive but it is not listed under ASIO drive.  I have option of selection magix low latecy 2011 / creative ASIO under Audio Playback on programe settings.

what do u mean by "what entry you use to record"?

I dont know it is linked to my soundcard? how do i find out it is linked? and if it is, how do i unlink them?

Thank you once again for your time to answer.  Appreciate
