arranger won't appear, get blank screen, what's wrong?!

I cannot get my arranger/storyboard/timeline to appear after clicking on the "edit" button in upper right corner of screen. When I click this button I get a blank screen. Why is this happening? How do I resolve it!?

Have you tried clicking the letters L, F or V ? (See under Window on top too, for other choises)

I found a solution before getting the suggestion of clicking the letters L, F, or V. Anyway, I simply reset the program to the factory defaults and everything worked out. At some point I must have inadvertantly hit a button, clicked on something, etc that created the issue? Regardless, I was able to get it working again and all is well.
