archiving complete project

I am running "Samplitude Music Studio (64 bit). lnk" (2022 version)

simple question:

I am simply trying to archive full projects.

I want to keep my computer free from audio, midi, VIP's, etc.

What I want to be able to do when I am finished with a project is to off load (or archive) all files and project files completely to an external SSD, not leaving anything on the computer except the Magix program...(ready for the next project), but I don't find anything that looks that straight forward.

I see where you can go into "clean up" and do a complete VIP download, but it seems that audio files as well as midi would still be left on the computers hard drive which would eventually bog down the computer with countless incidents of prior recordings from several older projects.

I don't mind having sub folders for Audio wave files and maybe changing midi into a WAV file. but is that the only way you can do this particular kind of thing?

I am just trying to make it possible in the above mentioned scenario to....if needed.....give myself the ability to revisit an old project for any reason, (a re-mix, changing a guitar part, and so on) uploading it and picking up where I left off.

any ideas.

@Tom-Long Are your project files scattered across the drive? For future projects I recommend you put all files for a project into a single project folder and simply back that folder up. Then you can simply move it from your drive to another and it's done.

I think you'll need to delete everything manually under your current workflow.
