Applying effect to all selected objects in MEP+15?

In MEP14 you could have multiple video objects selected and apply an effect (e.g. speed, colour, saturation etc.) to either a single selected object, all objects selected, or all objects in the movie. (i.e. a dialogue appeared when you applied an effect with options to "Apply to All Selected" or Apply to All".

Now in MEP+15 this dialogue does not appear, and I cannot find an option to apply a certain effect to multiple selected objects. You can select multiple objects, then open up an effects window, tweak your effect, but I can only get it to apply to one of the selected objects.

So, the question. In MEP+15, how do I apply a certain effect to all selected timeline objects at once?

All help, much appreciated, thanks.

Hallo James,

allthough I am using the German version here, I'll try my best to give you a few explanations.

You have to follow these steps:
Select an object on the timeline and apply an effect.
Save the effect and name it.
Video effects will be saved as *.ifx in UserVideoEffects.
Audio effects will be saved as *.afx in AudioEffects.
(Since there is no UserAudioEffects I prefer to name them with an underscore in the first place like  _effect01. This has also an advantage when sorting alphabetically.)

In the next step you mark any objects where the effect should apply.
Then load your effect.

You find the commands in the dropdown windows when you click the triangular

signs. Load effects, store effect etc.

A right click in the video line shows you all the commands for video effects,
the same applies for audio effects in the audio line.

I hope this could answer your basic questions.

Go and do some tests before you start!
