Hello,
I have been using this app for a long time and now it doesnt seem to be opening. It is saying:
"The programme could not be started... Error code: 59"
I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app however the same thing happens.
I would really appreciate some help with this please.

Error code 59 is a processing problem with the graphics.
Check you have the latest drivers for your GPUs by visiting the appropriate websites.
When Windows updates its operating system it often requires updates to GPU drivers to go along with the updates which Windows will not do for you.

Error -59 means the program installation folder is damaged, however just uninstalling and re-installing will not fix all issues as there are files and folders etc left behind which need cleaning up before re-installing.
Download and install (or run if you download the portable version) Revo Uninstaller Free use this to start and run the uninstall.
When the uninstall is finished Revo will scan and find the left over files, folders etc and ask you to delete them, do so.
Then re-install the program and activate it.

Hi John, thanks the help. My trouble is that I don't know how to find my activation code. I didn't keep packaging.

You say you have been using the program for ages. How long?
Have you upgraded to another version of Windows in the time you have had the program?
Do you know what components are in your computer?
If not, do you know the make and model number and what year it was made?
Without that information we can't tell you which sites to visit or even if it is another problem altogether.
As for your activation code. Did you not have to create a Magix account to activate the software? If so the activation codes will be stored there for you to copy and use. If you have changed email address since then, you may still be able to access the account by typing in the old email address and password even if that account no longer exists.

Hi,
I've been using the program since February 2021 and yes, I have a profile on magix but can't find the activation code or the product info there.
As for the upgrades I didn't change anything on the computer since I used Magix last (2 weeks ago) with no issues.

If you have activated a Magix account and registered your product you should see something similar to here.
If not, contact Magix at infoservice@magix.net or raise a ticket by using the contact support button at the bottom of your account page as seen in the link I gave above and ask about your details there.
