THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT
THIS MAY COST ME MY JOB!

I have Movie Edit Pro 15.
I have made multiple movies for my BUSSIENESS
and for myself. the movies for my bussieness will not
let me edit them. Why is it that it's just my bussieness
ones and not my personal ones. I need help. I may loose
my job. Get fierd or a bad review. I depend on MEP 15
And I need these Projects by next week. Or i'm fierd.
here is my problem.
I open the program. I select load a file.
I select my file. then it starts it load.
about at 10% of the loading prosses
it comes up with a warning box.
It says...
({"The file 'C:/Documents and Settings/Owner/Desktop/Tj/M2U00373.MPG'
that belongs to the movie could not be found

if the file is on a removible device, please insert it now and select repeat.
If the file was moved please select 'directory' and enter the current location.
*note if you skip loading the file then your loaded file may be faulty.")}

then it gives me the options: retry, skip, skip all, directory, and cancel.

Ive tried all of these they don't work.

and don't tell me to use the backup file it does the same thing (above)
Ive tried looking for it in files. Ive tried skip all. then there is no movie to edit when its done loading. Ive tried cancel, you know what that means.

A similar warning message happened to me when working on a slide show. What it turned out to be is that some of the photos I had added to the slide show later in the editing process I had grabbed from cd or a flash drive (i.e I didn't load them onto my C drive)...so when I re-loaded the movie, at a later time, I had since taken the flash drive out, and the program couldn't find the photos since I had taken the flash drive out.. I finally figured it out and loaded the photos directly on my computer so the program could find them. If you re-named the files (or photos) the same thing could be happening and the program doesn't recognize them.  Hope this helps?

have you looked in the directory it is telling you the file should be in? There should be a directory on your desktop called 'Tj' (according to your post). If you cant find it on your desktop then check the recycle bin or run a search for it. One other thought - do you have more than one login on your PC? maybe you were on another account ('Owner'? maybe, or the first account the PC had?) - you will get 'file not found' errors if your login does not have permissions to the file.
