Hi

What version number is your Video Pro X now at? See under Help, About . . .

Have there been any Windows 7 or anti virus/firewall updates installed recently?

hi,

I do not read the version number because the video pro x8 crashes on startup. It is a software downloaded.

No recently installed antivirus.

from crash-log these are the two reported errors:

Error in module "Video_Pro_X.exe" (Load address: 0x0000000140000000) to address 0x0000000140A2446D (Exception 0xc0000005 "ACCESS_VIOLATION")

Error in module "nvwgf2umx.dll" (Load address: 0x000007F8CE710000) to address 0x000007F8CEDE5E76 (Exception 0xc0000094 "INT_DIVIDE_BY_ZERO")

thanks for your attention

hi,

VIDEO PRO X version 15.0.3.105 (UDP3).

If I close the project Opening popup without opening any projects. the software responds to commands, and I could read the version number. But if I open or create a project the software crashes.

Hi

. . . . "nvwgf2umx.dll" . . . .

This is part of the NVidia graphics card drivers - this would suggest there is an issue with them (if you search the Internet you will find there are many cases of issues with them - have they been updated to the latest version ?

If they have try rolling the drivers back to a previous version, if not, check to see if there is an update for them.
