What program are you really using? Music Maker 12 Deluxe or Audio Studio? These are two very different programs?

Since you mention VIP files, I assume it might in fact be Audio Studio. In this case, you can add tracks via the "Track" menu => "Insert new tracks" sub menu.

If you're actually referring to the Music Editor that comes with your Music Maker 12 Deluxe, there's no possibility to add further tracks. It's a cut-down version of Samplitude/Music Studio and can only handle one single stereo track. It's not intended to be used as a multi-track DAW but just as an audio editor. If you want to use the feature set and interface of this program but as an actual DAW, you would have to go for Music Studio or Samplitude.
