ACID won't install: sfppack1_x64.dll failed to register

Hello. I am running ACID 10 ( licensed copy) on Windows 10. It worked fine until today when I installed a VST plug in (Lore, from puremagnetik.com) and then wouldn't load. I re-installed Acid 10 and half way through the install, received the error message: 'sfppack1_x64.dll failed to register HRESULT-2147024770'. This is a common problem reported on the Vegas Pro forums eg a known Magix bug. None of the solutions on the Vegas forums have worked for me.

The solution in Vegas was said to be '' that looks like a legacy dll failing to register with a new(er) OS'' ( see here: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/failure-during-install-to-new-windows-10-laptop--133917/ ) but this makes no sense to me here, as ACID was running fine until today: it was the new VST installation that changed something / overwrote something it shouldn't have. Any ideas how to fix this error and install ACID as normal?

Thanks

@andrew-sharpley Try installing all Microsoft C++ Runtime Redistributables 64 bit and 32 bit from here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170

Hi SP - and thanks! Yes, I found this fix shortly after writing the post. And it worked. [ I only had to install the latest version of 2022, rather than all. ]
