Acid Pro Clip Issue

Hi Guys, my friend is running a legit, updated version of AP10, formerly AP8 with the same issue.
The problem is the FX 'tail', example;
Vocal shots with a delay, it'll only delay during the clip length, so at the end of the clip, it wont delay. Hard one to explain, but is there any setting that would rectify this issue?

Hi @james-h this sounds like they have added an FX to the event - the box on the timeline with the vocal in it. FX assigned to an event live and die with the event.

instead use a Track FX, Bus FX, or an Assignable FX bus instead.

If they only want a delay on some of the vocal shots and not others separate out into different tracks or use automation to set parameters on the delay. e.g. enable/disable the FX, the wet/dry signal, or the send level.

He'd add it from the arrow on the left have side, as do I, and only be experiences this tail-less effect issue.
