I have been using ACID since the late 90's; upgrading as I go.

I have ACID Pro v8 and when I load one of my projects, I get random midi/synth sounds popping up all over. They showing up in the mixing bus VU as well. I am not using any midi or synths on this project. In fact, I have yet to even try. They did not in the past, and I think I installed some SoftSyth something or other, but even uninstalled it all and just fresh installed ACID Pro fresh and still there.

I have WIN 7 pro and am using an outboard ADC/DAC (Korg DAC-DC-10R) if that matters, but it shows up during a render as well.

I have tried to simply turn off the Midi/Synth within ACID, as I am not using it, but, seems no way to do that.
