ACID Music Studio 10.0 won't accept serial number, stays in trial mode

Max-Salinas wrote on 2/27/2020, 1:56 PM

I am having difficulty opening  ACID Music Studio 10.0. I get this window that says my trial version has expired and I need to enter the serial number. But I paid for it. When I put in my serial number I get a window that the program wants to restart. Then it goes back to the first window when I press OK. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled with the same results. How can I resolve this?

@Max-Salinas

Welcome to the Magix forums.

Unless another user has experienced exactly the same problem it is doubtful whether you will receive any useful answer here because this is a user to user forum.

Instead, you should use the Support link in the header of every forum page to contact Magix Sales. They are really the only people who can directly resolve this for you.

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately they want me to pay to open up a ticket, which is not the standard in the industry and is very unnerving. Thanks anyway! Max

@Max-Salinas

Did you select to contact Magix Sales, not Support when you attempted to create a ticket? You should not be charged for such contact, I understand.

Thanks again emmrecs, the issue was solved by deleting the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > Sony Creative Software > [Program Name] > [Version Number] > License folder in the editregistry area. They gave advice for free so Im a happy guy. Thanks again!
