ACID 9 PRO audio recording issues. HELP!

Ahoy!

Is there a special trick for 'arming' a non-midi audio track in ACID 9 PRO?

I am trying to record audio with a Blue Yeti Nano. and for some reason, whenever I open a new audio track to record, the 'arm' button is ghosted, and I am unable to click it at all. The 'arm' button is also ghosted on the main master controls. I have tested the mic with a free downloaded version of Audacity, and it works fine there....so....is there a setting I need to set up to allow me to record, cuz it ain't workin'. Any help or tips would be appreciated.

I'm using Windows 10, and a brand spankin newly downloaded Pro 9.

I'm super new to Pro 9. I had Pro 7 back when Sony had it, and those arm buttons work fine.

Thanks for your time.

Ahoi Samuel,

sounds like there is no recording device chosen. Please make shure that you have chosen the audio interface as the default recording device in the windows control panel/sound/recording.

Start ACID Pro 9 and open options/preferences/audiodevice and change the audio device type to your audio interface driver and check below that there is a default audio recording device chosen.
