I just lost about 2 hours of work on Acid 8.0 The app closed without warning and my .acd file became corrupted/no longer opens. For whatever reason the backup file crated was about 2 hours earlier, even though I press Ctrl+S to save after most edits. I rarely saw this type of problem with SONY Acid 7.0. I would love to revert back to 7, but I want to use my 64 bit plugins. This is DAW is becoming a huge hindrance for me. Ctrl+Z still doesn't work right. I have purchased Harrison Mixbus DAW for $52, once my current work is complete I think I will make the switch.
