About music maker 17

I just downloaded my music make 17 but I cannot use it because the sound pool and instruments do not produce any sounds. Rather I get a pop up saying this version has been deleted, moved or not in use. Please help. what can I do to fix it?

If you drag and drop any instruments on the arranger and Play can you hear sound? Do you face this problem for all soundpool or a particular Style or Genre such as Hip hop, Techno Trance etc?
