Hi,

If I am not wrong click on the red marked No.1 "Record" This screen shot I already had so sharing with you. When you use Midi object have to activate by click on midi object on the arranger.

I had faced same message when I used to use Music Maker Deluxe 12 therefore, I could not recall 100% but what I said above I did that and had worked.

You should try first click on the Midi object on arranger then click record button some thing will change surely.

Note: I still remember whenever I had wanted to export this message had appeared but finally I solved that.

Thank you

sorry i tried but obtained only a "blank" object that overwritten the previous ones with silence...

i wonder why such a great music program doesn't allow me to simply write a mp3, as even audacity does...

Hi,

I do not know why it did not work, you can export Mp3 or other format, but not like audacity.

Do you know most problem in Music Maker are result of windows 7. I think if your soft is new there is a patch available for windows 7 and MMM 17. Did you check that or not?

if you go to Magix website and sign in then you can check latest updates. Or you can try from your Music Maker which I myself do not like.

Update your Music Maker then try.

In the meantime you should also send same message to Magix support. They will also guide you well.

Thank you

you said most problem in mmm 17 are caused by win 7, but i'm only using xp sp3. i've just checked for updates within the software window and it said that my version is up to date...

i think it is something related to sinthetizer and instrument, so it could not be a bug...

Hi,

Using update from software I do not trust that is why I used to visit Website and searched if I could find any updates when I needed.

You should contact Magix support this place is for user to help each other.

Only you know your current situation, but...

This happens to me all the time.  It happens whenever I have a track containing a MIDI object MUTED so that it will not be exported with the rest of the arrangement.

Since I've done this intentionally, it's not a problem.  It's just a reminder by MMM so that I won't unintentionally leave out content.

i ' ve just found one of the possible solutions by me, but it seems to change the sound. In facts i could to export the full song to mp3 by selecting a track instrument from the arrow next to the track name.  But this isn't the best since changing the instrument changes the performing of the midi.... can someone post a better solution? Thanks
