4K export option missing

dirk-saeys wrote on 8/24/2019, 8:45 AM

I just upgraded my photostory deluxe to version 2020 and I do not see the export option for 4K output

anymore. I wasavailable on the previous version but after upgrade It is no where ... all the export formats show a maximum resolution of full HD (1920)

The about panel shows clearly: "Photostory Deluxe 19.0.1.16"

Thanks

@dirk-saeys

Welcome to the Magix forums.

I've never needed 4K Export so had to search a little for this! The "Export" button, top right of the main workscreen does not, indeed offer any 4K options.

Rather, you need to go to File>Video as HEVC and select one of the options shown on the screen for mp4 full 4K export.

Thanks .. found it .... there is an obscure "Display all" option ton the codec page hat disables (=does not show) the 4K options. Enabling this resolves and 4K options are showing ..

Why does not the software shows the 4K option by default ?? The product advertises as 4K enabled .. so they should be shown by default.
