2 questions on Photostory 2015

First question - while selecting audio to be added to a slide show, the "old" Photostory displayed a counter which showed the seconds. Apparently this was not included in the 2015 version? Am I correct?

Second Question - There are a limited amount of background videos I can select. Is there a method of adding to them? Do I need to convert to a different format then placing the file in the proper directory?

If I need to convert formats (ut oh - this appears to be a third question) what program do you recommend? I really would like to add my own videos as backgrounds in addition to the limited selection given,

Thanks for the help....

Hi,

I don't have version 2015, only 2013 so I can't answer Q1.

Q2 Background videos - did you download and install everything under Help, Free addons (or something like that) and do an online update?

Almost any image or video can be a background video. In timeline mode, put it on track 1 - which is all that PhotoStory does for a background usually. Sometimes if the background is for the entire project, then it is hidden but is still actually on a track that is underneath everything. Then put you image - photos or videos - that is/are smaller in proportions onto track 2. You will see the edges of the background. There should be no need to convert.

Q3 should be no need to convert anything. See Q2.
