Extra notes added at end of MIDI-file

I've been using the most recent version of Music Maker for a week now and have noticed a quirk when I record a VST instrument: when the recording of that MIDI file ends, it automatically adds notes that were not played but already appear in another VST recording on another track.
Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this? I can of course delete the unnecessary notes, but that can't be the intention...

@Guy-VV Are you maybe sending notes in a loop from Music Maker back to your keyboard? Which MIDI output is selected in the program settings?

@Guy-VV So you send the MIDI from your keyboard to your Focusrite interface and then back to the Focusrite interface. Is the keyboard connected with MIDI cables?

You could try the Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth as the MIDI output. Maybe it solves the problem?
