cambiamento “radicale” per Franco
Galateo aka
ex-galaegala in quanto ha deciso d’ora in poi di pubblicare i suoi
album con il vero nome di Franco Galateo. Ma veniamo all’album che
rappresenta anch’esso un camibamento in quanto fuori dagli schemi
dell’abituale purismo elettronico, per convogliare verso uno stile
rock-elettronico ad ampi tratti progressivo (che fa ricordare molto
in alcune parti il prog tedesco degli anni 70 ed in altre parti il
prog nipponico degli anni 80). Bando alle ciance (alle disquisizioni
riguardo al fatto che ci siano anche contaminazioni di matrice
islandese, molto vicine alla musica dei Sigur Ros) perché la musica
è quella di Franco che “pensa, compone ed agisce in proprio”.
L’abum è concettuale, tutta la musica ruota attorno ad una storia
esoterica dove il concetto amore-odio è molto ben descritto
attraverso le note. Un album veramente affasciante.

"radical" change for Franco Galateo aka ex-galaegala as he
decided from now on to publish his albums with the real name of
Franco Galateo. But let's get to the album which also represents a
change as it is outside the box of the usual electronic purism, to
convey towards a rock-electronic style with wide progressive traits
(which reminds us in some parts of the German prog of the 70s and in
other parts the Japanese prog of the 80s). No more talk (to the
disquisitions about the fact that there are also contaminations of
Icelandic origin, very close to the music of Sigur Ros) because the
music is that of Franco who "thinks, composes and acts on his
own". The abum is conceptual, all music revolves around an
esoteric story where the concept of love-hate is very well described
through the notes. A truly fascinating album.
