Let's talk about dreams, music is in fact… dreamlike. This suggests that musical architecture is mainly based on simple structures, harmonic turns, arpeggios and chord timbres, with a hint of synthesizers, but only to create a bit of "background". However, in order not to betray the label, there are moments characterized by the "traditional" sound of L'Uomo and L'Ombra as in the finale of "Beyond the Shadow of Uranus" (already published here on Magix) or in the final track "Beyond the wall of dreams ". The recovery of a Sandro Glavina’s creations no-LUELO song like "Dream Time 2011" and the current adaptation of "Virnya's dream" are interesting. There is no need to spend any more words on the album. Now it is available on Reverbnation and Jamendo for those who want to listen to it and possibly make the free download. Album Artwork in which S. Glavina's graphic elaboration of a photo by Fabio Cherubini aka Fazcher is present.

Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Yes, the decisive entry of the synth underlines the passage between the previous moment which is that of the dream and the moment in which you return to abrupt reality. In fact, here we go beyond the wall of dreams. as you can see from the title of the album (Oniria = oniric) the whole theme of the album is centered on the alternation of dream situations and real moments, but also on the confusion between them (dream and reality).
