My invention for experimental purposes made this afternoon. When I listened to it again, Sun Ra came to mind ...

If you think my composition-performance is too extreme, then you have to listen to the final track (Atlantis) of Sun Ra's "Atlantis" album. Atlantis is an album by American jazz musician Sun Ra and his Astro-Infinity Arkestra, released in 1969 by El Saturn Records.

I drew the cover by hand the day I was waiting for the plumber who was 3 hours late. Subsequent digital processing.

Mia invenzione a finalità sperimentale fatta oggi pomeriggio.

Successiva elaborazione digitale.

Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Sandro isn't a professional musician, composes and plays music just for fun, but his works reach a good outcome, pleasant to listen. L'UOMO E L'OMBRA

Ciao Franco

Bonjour Sandro ....

All your personality for this experimentation led by a master hand .... I don't know perfectly "Sun Ra" from which you are inspired .... but I thank you for offering us the possibility to discover it better ....

Its definitely experimental in content, the Mike Oldfield of jazz, a style that presents many instruments in no logical order. improvisation of style and direction. sounds from a musical box, turn the key and follow its journey. I enjoyed the listen cheers. 😀👍🍺🍺🍺

Hello Sandro, Amazingly clear tones in the Intro., and then it's almost like entering a haunted mansion, my friend! Sounds like it could be Entities from other worlds or our world; hauntingly bold and dark music, my friend! Kind of avant-garde, but a more melodious avant-garde, Sandro! Fascinating music here, Sandro! I love it when great composers like yourself push the boundaries of music! And yet very distinctive and unique to only you, my friend! You a massaging every note, man! The tones are surreal and remind me a little of Frank Zappa's music. Great clarity of sound, too!. BRILLIANT! VME! CBW 10,000 Suns! 💯👍👍👍👍👍 P.S. I hope your art lives on well past your life; it deserves to be heard, brother! Cool towards the end picking up the tempo, Sandro!
