AETERNA (short story by Sandro Glavina)

Despite her efforts in administering the city of Aeterna, Governor Aracna Rays was unable to solve the main problem: the Purgamentum that deadly pollutes the city. The inhabitants have built bio-pyramids of survival in the suburbs and pray to the Goddess Bia Lunaria with the hope that their pleas will be accepted and a solution will be found. Compassionate Bia Lunaria, welcomes the prayers of the desperate people and instructs the Priestess Dilecta, her daughter, to go to Aeterna.

Before embarking on the journey, Dilecta charges herself with biocosm-electro-energy to strengthen her physical stamina, logical intelligence and intuition. Once in Aeterna, Dilecta meets Aracna Rays. Together they go to the Hall of Enigmas of the Spiqur Palace. Aracna Rays confides to the Space Priestess the existence of an encrypted alphanumeric code which, if decrypted correctly and inserted into the Sphere of Solutions, could trigger the purification process of Aeterna. However, if the wrong code is entered, the entire Aeterna could explode. Aracna makes available to Dilecta a team of Officials to support it in the operations of deciphering the code. The Officials instead of collaborating, hinder Dilecta's work with bureaucratic trifles. Dilecta is also opposed by the Fancax, one-eyed guardians of the Spiqur Palace, who bar her access to the technical rooms. Dilecta only has to resort to her own bio-cosmic energies and is able to decipher what ends up being a "code of Caesar". The code decrypted by the priestess Dilecta can be entered by the governor Aracna Rays. The effect is surprising: the code has the power to break an arcane spell by freeing the bodies and minds of the officials and the Fancax from the bad presences who possessed them. Full of enthusiasm and energy, Officials and Fancax unite and manually remove all the Purgamentum from Aeterna. The Space Priestess Dilecta can return to the cosmos and the Goddess Bia Lunaria returns to watch over a clean and livable Aeterna.

In Aeterna angekommen, trifft Dilecta Aracna Rays.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Sandro isn't a professional musician, composes and plays music just for fun, but his works reach a good outcome, pleasant to listen. L'UOMO E L'OMBRA
