Stepping down from the stage
Where you’ve long been standing,
Is not a pleasant move, by all means.
Turning off the light
That once, on you, was shining ,
Only fools enjoy the change, it would seem.
He was one of them and wished to be,
A musician for all, a painter on the walls,
A renaissance man to be.
Before, confort was his motto, his prayer.
Work and money as an aim to be free.
But they enslaved him and broke his desire,
And took him where he didn't want to be.
Now he wished to find his other me.
A challenger in all, explorer to be born,
A renaissance man to be.
No one, no time, and no constraint,
Will ever keep him chained again
No more don’t , no more does
He has no time to play the duty blues
Stepping down from the stage
Where you’ve long been standing,
Is not a pleasant move, by all means.
Turning off the light
That once, on you, was shining ,
Only fools enjoy the change, it would seem.
He was one of them and wished to be,
A musician for all, a painter on the walls,
A renaissance man to be.
A challenger in all, explorer to be born,
A renaissance man to be
