The colorful and brilliant score of The Joyful Isle where the pianist is invited to constantly change its sound and to show finesse in the game, could illustrate the frivolity, carelessness, escape. The brief introduction on a trill is followed by an entertainment on a habanera rhythm; then develops a long voluptuous phrase, which ends on a very bright and brilliant finale. Debussy is committed to a new sound universe, including the important use of the tonal scale and the use of new musical colors

Thanks for listen, if u do...

Hey Mr GGGG. Glad you're back.😁 . I think you left for the same reason I did and came back for the same reason too.

If I heard this without knowing who wrote it, I'm not sure I would guess it was a work by Debussy. I know, as an Impressionist, he was committed to expanding the boundaries of the musical landscape but many of his other works are billowy and almost harp-like whereas this has a lot of block chords. Parts remind me of Gershwin. Not sure why. Regardless, you once again amaze me with your abilities and the versatility you have that enables you to play a wide assortment of genres. And you Excell in all of them. I hate you GG 😁. No I don't. I'm just jealous 🤗

Definitively Debussy's, no doubt about it. Nicely played and with a sense of time/rythm. Thank you for sharing!.
