(analysis of the Barcarolle. Op.60 in F Sharp Major).

On an allegretto at 12/8, a "cantilena" in thirds is exposed. A second lyrical theme emerges with force and then the intensity decreases. A central episode in A major in triplets leads to a passage "poco piu mosso passionate. Then recapitulation of the "cantilena" in F sharp major, but with rhythmic and melodic changes, before the virtuoso coda all in triplets, long lines in ornamental notes. Four octaves supported fortissimo conclude the barcarolle.

io penso che questa traccia sia senza dubbi molto bella.. non conosco l.opera .. ma ritengo che la tua interpretazione sia di altissima qualità..

I love it. I love Chopin. I would say exactly as Chopin would have intended it to be. I do not understand why too many players of Chopin think that they must beat the living $&*t out of the piano. G.G. approach substitutes this heavy-handedness with a much loved intellectual treatment.

Oh Wow I am only going to put my foot in my mouth by saying anything other than what a great pleasure to hear such amazing music! You are a master! Wow. You are the real deal and I am truly humbled to be sharing the same virtual space. You know I had a great day at work until the last half hour when someone decided to change my course of work. I did it with out question and when leaving I was taunted and ridiculed for my work by the same person and a couple others. And somehow listening to this music you play is helping me realize my self worth in a positive way. Until now I had convinced myself that even though they were poking at me in a hurtful way they were still thinking about me and saying my name. My name must have been in each of their mouths many times even before selecting me to do the things that was asked of me. I can't change that and nor will I try. I will address me myself and I. And this piece of music was my vehicle to doing so. Thank You GG you are an amazing musician. Masterful ! Wonderful!
