As Procyon suggests, your post is very vague.  What is it you are trying to do, and how are you trying to do it.  Also what are your system specs.?  Saying "I just bought music studio 2 and it wont let me record for some reason."  Tells us almost nothing.  What are you tryin to record, how are you tryin to record it...all of that will help you get a reasonable answer instead of wild ass guesses about what could be the problem.
