Hi,

Your Tascam US 1641 got plenty of channels unfortunatley in Music Maker we can record one track at a time.

Music Maker is not a Daw to record more tracks simultaneously like Cubase if you got with your interface.

First you got to install your interface driver.

Then from windows control panel make setteings follow Tascam pdf help.

Open Magix Music Maker 15 on keyboard click "Y" key under General Tab chose Asio driver (Tascam), Under Audio Midi you too have make settings.

Record track one by one.

Thank you

Hi,

As said by NIHON94, MMM is not a real DAW. It can record in stereo mode. With my sound interface I can record with two mics without any problem on a stereo track. After you can split the stereo track in 2 mono tracks with MMM.

The problem with MMM is... to record in MONO with a good quality. MMM records always in stereo and divide by 2 the intensity of the signal to create a mono recording. MONO = (L+R)/2 !

With one mic you get L/2.

Personaly, I use AUDACITY or LIVE to record in mono mode.

In your case Samplitude is more accurate.

Regards.
