If the necessary codec is not present on your system, you will have to obtain and install it to enable Video Deluxe to import the AVI files. If you find that the codec is already available on your system but you're still having problems importing the AVI files from your digital photo camera, please try this: In Video Deluxe, go to the "Program Settings..." in the "File" menu, or bring them up by pressing the "Y" key. Select the tab "System". Find the checkbox "Internal AVI Import" in the "Import format" list and disable it. Now try importing your video clips again. I hope this helps.
