Only with 2 tracks, 200%DSP with 1gb buffer and still glitching everytime i try to record something. it is so frustrating. I have Focusrite +4pre with latest drivers on widows 11 and last version of Samplitude. Any ideas??
@CarlosAlberto-AlmorilRojas The maximum ASIO buffer size is usually 2048 samples. Other buffer settings are for loading audio files from the hard drive. This usually doesn't need any change because modern hard drives are fast enough.
No se qué le pasa a Samplitude, pero estoy teniendo dropouts de audio en grabaciones con un solo micrófono... Algo inaudito. No sé por qué, pero no puedo confíar así en mis grabaciones. He probado otro DAW y ningún problema.
It sounds more like you broke the audio configuration in some way. You can reset X8 via the Help menu to its default settings. Maybe try that.
I ve tried all this, and look more info in internet and nothing i ve tried seems to work. I try to write the same things in other daws and no problems... Could be a bug or it is just my pc?
I have tried with all buffers and happens from 128 to 1024. I have tried to change hibrid engite no hardware monitroing and it seems to be better. Maybe is just casual
@CarlosAlberto-AlmorilRojas Hasta ahora todo parece ir bien. ¿Cuáles son tus ajustes en las opciones de Rendimiento? Algunos usuarios informaron problemas si todos los núcleos de CPU disponibles están habilitados.
Looks good so far. What are your settings in the Performance options? Some users reported problems if all available CPU cores are enabled.
I have a i7 6700k, it has 4 processors and 8 threads. I disabled the hyperthreading in the bios options, thats way it shows 4 processors available. I have test it, with and without ht, like 7/8 procesorres 4/8., 4/4, 3/4. 1/4 etc... more or less the same performance. What I notice is the DSP never reachs 100%, so the processor is like not overloaded, it just the number in ther right (200% Max). What is this value?
Look the dsp and max value how is moving, and i am not doing nothing in the computer. The project is just open, and no playback, nothing. Is it not strange?
Thank you for the info and supoort. I see there is a lot of people with this problem. I have tried some of this tweaks, but It remains more or less the same. Ita a pitty, cause I really like samplitude and ita features and I am so used to its workflow. I Will wait till Next update to see the performance and then i Will see if change or stay the DAW. So, thanks a lot, was really helpul
@CarlosAlberto-AlmorilRojas On my computer it works without any problem. It even works on my old Asus Flipbook laptop without any ASIO audio interface. So, this has probably something to do with certain hardware/Windows combinations or certain BIOS/Windows power settings.
i have just set my laptop dell with all recommended power options and with a 96 buffer is working fine. So, i will to look further in my pc. Just thinking to try windows 10, but i would need to reinstall all...ufff I will do it anyways. Thank you.
Hey mate, I just created another partiton and install windows 10 again. Everything works now like a charm. I am recording several tracks with only 96 buffer. No pops, no clicks, nothing. Incredible!!! how many hours I wasted trying to configure w11 and i dont what was the problem in there, but now i can work again doing music. Thanks!
