An Experiment.

I did the instrumental a few months ago and since I am currently waiting for new fodder to finalise the next collaborative track, I thought I'd use some lyrics from original Martin Heeremans songs, tweak them to fit and see what comes out.

The original lyrics are way faster, so it sometimes sounds a bit weird - but since we're in space this doesn't matter much.

Music is pure Midi and the lyrics are all from Martin. I had to find a drawer to put this in, so I put it under Rap. Music is more towards "Space Ambience".

I hope that some of you may like this enforced marriage of instrumental and lyrics.

Oje, heute macht ihr's mir aber schwer. Deine Midi-Mukke ist voll klasse!! Tolle Klänge, astreiner Sound. Aber der Rap von Martin ist mir zu statisch. Er hätte besser mit dem Tempo und den Pausen spielen können. Ein Vocoder oder sowas wäre vielleicht nicht verkehrt gewesen. Auch Adlibs hätten die Sache belebt. Deine Musik ist ein glatter Fünfer, aber insgesamt gesehen kann ich nur **** geben.

Stimme HR zu, die Mugge von Norbert ist ein glatter 5er, mind. der Rap fällt etwas ab. Wobei es wohl auch ziemlich schwer ist und ich auch sagen würde, es liegt nicht unbedingt am Rap selbst, sondern an der Nachbearbeitung. Ich würde wohl ordenlich Hall auf den Rap legen, mit dem Vocoder würde ich auch experimentieren.

Wie auch immer und auch so, von mir gibt es auch in der Gesamtbewertung 5*****

I loooovee the change of atmosphere to this song and it actually rolls with beat really well!!

That chunky, rolling, epic bass notes matched with the high synths are such a great idea!

You are a genius man, and to match lyrics like that and get that full on different feel to them. Word up bro!

Damn - nearly missed this.  Great stuff Norbert.  You always take us  interesting places, with your great sense of rhythmic creativity.  The echiing drone sounds delivering that background sense of menace are wonderful behind the insistent bass and beat.  Martin's vocals work so well with your musical flair.  So this is a 'filler' while you await new 'fodder' to work with, huh?  Hell's teeth, I wish my fillers could sound this good.  Great work my friend.  You are becoming a force of nature - a real midi monster (in a good way).

Did you have a lower song tempo and thus Martins rhymes are mixed slower than the original recording. Clever stuff.

I like the spacey hip hop soundscape. That low spacey synth bass that is the backbone of the song is great.

Nice use of strange sounds and timings.

It really fits well.

I think musically this is the best song I have heard you do.

And mixing Martins rhymes to fit is very clever.

5 stars for production quality, originality and innovation.

C'est de la musique minimaliste à mes yeux, très simple mais sympa à écouter.

j'aime la musique expérimentale.

Dans les années 80 j'écoutais beaucoup de NEW WAVE qui est mon style préféré et j'écoutais de la New Wave dite : Industrielle.

Votre musique ressemble beaucoup à ce style et donc me plait.

Par contre comme je vous le disait pour un de vos autres morceaux, je n'aime pas le Rap donc non plus les voix de rappeurs qui là, je trouve, gâche un peut cette musique un peu spaciale qui pourait nous transporter ailleurs, lol !
