My first step with this song was the bass track. The piano chords came surprisingly easy and so were the first few words of the chorus - run for your life. The rest of it was hard work.
Day after day I couldn't imagine why the singer should have the need to run for his life. After some days and to get ahead with the song I decided: He'd shot the sheriff. Well we already had this one in a famous song but I hope there aren't any further affinities :-)
For the first time I tried the "vocal tune" in Samplitude and additinally played with hall effects for the vocals. Sounds somehow strange but I found it to be appropriate for the song setup.
