My story

Album: Norbert MAGIX Songs

Again, a first for me.

I wanted to tell a story within a track.
But what to do if you only got samples and „TexToWav“? You got to use TexToWav.

I started to think about a story, wrote lines down, brought them into rhythmic patterns and tried to create rhymes that are not sounding too cheap.
With the reading voice being the only voice I do have available at the moment I tried a few things – and when I was done, I started to create the musical theme around it.

I hope you can appreciate this track which is more story-driven than usual, hence the music itself varies a bit around the same theme – I tried to catch the atmosphere of the story part as it unfolds.

Story plays in the future – or do you know any Human-like Androids next door?

Happy for you to drop a comment. This time for music and story. Would be nice.

Thanks and have a good pre-Helloween time,
NorbertSN

Halli hallo. *****

I know nothing about music. Only listened .. Using technology also makes possible for me to be able to make music.

I am also into photography amateur.

I'm not here for stars score but coment with advice for improvement of my music.

at my coment on music of others, I remain honest. this must be mutual .

I give my voice just as public and not as someone who knows something from music.

I'm open to all criticism. I want to learn something

I said this in a previous comment, but your work is always top shelf (I call it Cognac).

And yes, whether you're telling a story, or making a beat, I am all ears bro!

Chained to a jar.... Having a shower, and the maker and dressing up his girl in rocks and pearls. Hmm, sounds like this movie I was watching before.. Lest we forget about the jar and what it is required for either... She had a pearl knecklace too, I do believe lol.

The way the robotic monotone voice says this fits in well.

Whats the part about the box fitting in an area that can't scratch it, I listened to that bit a few times, but it didnt divulge why the box had to fit.

I still cant believe it tho bro, you got the robotic flow crack'a'lacking!

Top notch track, Norbert.  Excellent work.  Everything I do tends to be narrative driven, so I really appreciate the effort that has gone into this.

When you use Tect to wav it gets very robotic how ever how you build this "talking track" is verfy cool, the voice sounds great to it and talking words can be cool. And I like the story, seems like you have given it an extra tought.Great work my friend.-

Are you familiar with the album "The ccrimson Idol" by W.A.S.P? It's an concept album about this guy growing up, gets to be a rockstar and to end with suicide. The limited cd contains and extra cd where has this 10-12 minute "talking track" with just an acostic guitar and he tells the listener the background of the story...ccould easily be a great movie. Highly recommend that album, one of my all time favourites. A good story is worrth listen to and I think you did that here too, maybe you should continue?

I like the TexToWav work and the story was good.  Very good work I like it a lot. Also, your image matches the story.

Hi Norbert:

I think my neighbor is an "android". <lol>  This "story within a story" is a pleasant listen.  Very interesting rhythms and voice robotic accompaniment.

You've certainly conveyed the essence of your concepts.

This is a great futuristic track... I like it very much.

Vocals and lyrics are very much up to the topic... a topic I definetely like. Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell... the Faustian story of the Homunculus... Androids in a more "modern" form. I love the idea of Androids... and the ever lasting question of "What makes a human a human? And how you define life?"

It would always be good to write down the words in your introductary comment... for this is quite a complex story.

Me likes.

P.S.:

Just last night I had another encounter with their kind... and another proof that it is possible to tell a good story within about 80 minutes...
