Inmitten eines nebligen Sees fährt ein heruntergekommener und alkoholkranker Schriftsteller mit einem kleinen Boot zum Fischen hinaus, und trinkt sich in einen atemberaubenden Rausch. In einem kurzen Versuch, sich von seiner Sucht zu befreien, wirft er seine Schnapsflasche über Bord. Sie sinkt auf den Meeresboden, wo eine seltsame Kreatur sie zurückholt, an die Oberfläche steigt und sich dem Schriftsteller in seinem Boot anschließt. Beide trinken exzessiv und stellen sich ihrem Dämon....
In the middle of a foggy lake, a down-and-out and alcoholic writer goes out fishing in a small boat and drinks himself into a breathtaking stupor. In a momentary attempt at freeing himself from his addiction, he throws his liquor bottle overboard. It sinks to the bottom of the sea, where a strange creature retrieves it, rises to the surface and joins the writer in his boat. Both drink excessively and face their demon....
