Hello, I was looking for the text format that is like the intro for the Star Wars movies with the scrolling/fading text. Is there a Magix text format like that? I looked and I didn't find one. Magix 2020
Basically yes Terry. Except you need to add an adjustment to the speed to be able to read it in time and lower the end point and fade the exit point possibly.
I thought there was a built-in effect but couldn’t find it so assumed I’d been mistaken. I’ll look for the one you mention when I get back to the PC.
EDIT: OK, perhaps I misunderstood your question. I see that Floating (Outro) is not a Star Wars effect. So are we agreed that there never has been an oven-ready version?
I've also found one I must have made myself and hardly used since, saved as the file:
C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Movie Edit Pro 2016 Premium\Titles\Standard\3D Floating.tfx
Thank you very much you guys! I need to create a training video and our senior engineer loves Star Wars so I wanted to add some Star Wars style points for him!
Thanks, mystery solved, I must have copied it across then, as I always did.
(I wonder how the Magix MEP team decide what effects to remove? I'd have put a few dozen on the deletion list ahead of Star Wars, if only for old time's sake. To be fair though, maybe they based it on how easy it was to make manually.)
You can get the same effect using MS Powerpoint. Once you have finished the respective slide, convert it to video format to export the file. Have a look on Youtube for many examples. You can then use that in Magix
You can save the animated title as a Custom title once it is working as you require - right click the title object to get the pop-up - all animations applied are saved in the title template created, and it appears under the My Own titles as shown below.
