List of Soundpool loops by name

SP. schrieb am 13.04.2020 um 16:27 Uhr

In the past some of you bought single loops from Catooh which is not possible on the new Producerplanet website. If you are now missing a specific loop you can't find out from which Soundpool you'll get it.

I've created a list of all Soundpool loops in my collection, which should cover nearly all loops that were released by Magix. I tried to automatically add information like BPM and harmony, which worked fine for most of the loops, but not all.

With the help of the list you can easily find out to which Soundpool a loop belongs. Then you just search for the Soundpool on Producer Planet and download or buy it there if you need another loop from it.

Many of the Soundpools in the list are listed with their old names. Magix changed the names of a lot of Soundpools, but the search on Producerplanet also works when you are using the old names because they are mentioned in the description of each Soundpool.

Here is the link to download the list. It is just a zip file with a text file inside. The textfile is a csv file. You can open it with a text editor or software like Microsoft Excel or LibreOffice Calc.

I downloaded the list. What is that freaking *.csv format? Why didn´t you just use the *.txt format?

Ich habe die Liste runtergeladen. Was ist das für ein komisches *.csv Format? Warum hast du nicht

einfach das *.txt Format verwendet?

Open the csv file in Excel and everything will be in the correct columns. I definitely would not want a text file; that would be a real mess.

@FormerUser

Any half-decent Spreadsheet program should be able to open a .csv file. Both LibreOffice and OpenOffice (both free) include such a program.

Like @browj2, I would hate to see this information presented in a .txt file.

You can open the file with any text editor but then it is not formatted clearly in columns.

In the current version you will find nearly all Soundpool loops which were released until spring 2021.

Anyways, before publishing the list it could be turned into a PDF, which everybody could handle easily.

It's far easier to use in a spreadsheet program as you can filter and sort the data. It is after all an easy to handle csv file. It has over 250000 lines so that would make for a very nasty PDF file.
