Hi,

Do you want the title to fly out from left to right or be rubbed out from left to right?

Here is a way to wipe the title from left to right.

Create your title. Move it down one track.

Insert a black background between the video and the title.

Select the background.

Effects, Chromakey, click on Alpha. Then click on the arrow on the object to get it to point upwards.

Effects, Movement effects, Size/Position. Position the background to cover the text and at the location where you want the effect to start, create a keyframe.

Position the playback cursor to where the time on the timeline where the text should be gone.

Drag the background to the right past the text. Click on the keyframe.

Try it.

Here is the screen shot.

Here is the video. Ignore the big X, as I was just trying out a Pixelan blur effect. Is this what you want?

If the video doesn't work, here is the link to Dropbox.

You might also try the built in fade called Gliding which I've illustrated here:

It's basically a clean wipe, but with no blurring effect.

Here's an outline of its creation:

Just playing around with Pixelan SpiceMaster. Here are a few wipe type effects, but with grains. First one wipes title, second brings it in, third wipes at an angle with bluish grains, fourth comes in from the middle outwards, fifth morphs from green to red with yellowish grains, shows that these can work on titles made with proDAD Heroglyph as well - Heroglyh script writing in and Pixelan spice eating title from left. The types, masks, combinations and permutations of Spicemaster is almost limitless. Amazing! The ones in the video clip are fairly simple. Add animation and they become more interesting. Now I just have to remember how I did this.
