Hi Alfredo and welcome to the Community,

You have not given us much useful information to be able to help. Explain in more detail what you were trying to do. We can't see your screen and we have no idea as to what you were doing. Also, include your version of MMM and the type, regular or Premium, and some information about your computer - operating system and a few specifications.

Alfredo,

I see that you also posted this in the Q&A part and that there are answers. Please do not double-post as it just confuses things and can waste the time of others who want to help.

I'm having a similar issue i need to reprogram the pathways because my files are scattered all over the place. i'd like to consolidate my clips in one location and repoint the clips to the new folder locations. I've tried re importing them but then i'll have multiples of the clip that i can't get rid of i've tried recreating the pathways and copying to the recreated path but this too failed. so how do I get the current sound pools out and reload them?

For Jill,

See this thread and my answer as to where soundpools should all be located.

Once you have moved all of your soundpools correctly to C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common\Soundpools, then open MMM and press P to open the program settings. Under the General options tab, near the bottom right are 2 buttons, Cleanup soundpool, Reset soundpool.

Clean up Soundpool: Every detected Soundpool (on CD/DVD or on the hard drive) is added to the database and displayed there, even if the corresponding medium is currently not in the drive or if the Soundpool has been deleted or moved. This option helps to remove these entries in the database.

Reset Soundpool: Deletes the Soundpool database. You have the option of maintaining the included and installed factory-provided Soundpool in the database.

I am assuming that you have all of your soundpools on the hard drive. I suggest that you reset the soundpool and accept the option of maintaining the included and installed factory-provided Soundpool in the database; this, I presume, means leaving the checkbox checked beside "Use installed Soundpool even after reset."

Then close the settings and go to Soundpools area at the bottom of the screen in the media pool and click on "+ Add." This opens the browser. Navigate to the top folder of the location of all of the soundpools, C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common\Soundpools, click on it and then click on 'OK." All of the soundpools will be added. Next time that you add more soundpools under this heading, MMM will automatically find them and add them. If it doesn't then you can go and add them yourself by clicking on + Add again and going to the correct folder to select them.

Hope this helps.
