Hi,

Put the video on track 1 and the image on track 3. Reduce the video clip length if necessary or increase the length of the photo. You will only see what is on the higher numbered track, and the audio will play.

Alternatively, you can separate the audio and video onto 2 tracks - Ctrl+H, ungroup them (Shift+G), and delete the video part. You will be left with the audio.
