Hi

it is better to export from MEP to your hard drive using the recommended settings from here then use Youtube own uploader to transfer the file.

Hi,

I agree with John, ever since YouTube was acquired by Google, the direct export from MEP and a number of other editing applications I use has been sporadic at best.  I never even try anymore.

Save yourself a lot of time and frustration and export the file and just upload the file directly to YouTube as John suggests.

Export your video to mpeg4 T/s teritorial streaming as an image file . saving it in a folder of your choice . Go into your Google account. Open one if you do not have one. Go to  You tube go to upload video. save the watch # .

you can send the watch # to  friends our  put your name and you tube in the search engine . you can then view them on any media, including T.V.

 Regards Pete

I save the movie to my computer as HD Quality 1/MPEG4 and do it that way. which is 1280/720. I go to put it on youtube and it says that the file is unrecognizable and that it will try to upload it anyway and it still can't do it. I'm stumped.

Hi em

There is a new MEP2014 patch 13.0.2.8 that should address this problem (see my post in Important Topics for the link or use the "Online update" in "Help" in MEP. Apparently Google have created this problem when they took over YouTube as George mentioned. I have not tried it but some sort of Google Log on now comes up after the mixdown, when using the MEP direct upload.
