Hi anizza,

if Your operating system knows the device(driver) it should be no problem. MMM 16 should also detect the device, but it is strongly recommended to read the manual of this software so that You can use it properly. Please, read the manual.

Absolutely!

However, since MMM is not a full DAW, it may not have all of the functionality as if used with a DAW.  For instance, MMM will not respond to pitch bend or modulation wheel commands (in MIDI).  I don't know if it will for other VST plug-ins or not.

To record the sounds from your keyboardyou need to connect the AUDIO OUTPUT from the keyboard to the AUDIO INPUTS of your sound card (blue jack).  Then, make sure that the soundcard is listed as the recording input device in Window control panel (Sounds...) and in the program settings in MMM ('Y' key, Audio/MIDI tab).

However, to use the keyboard as a MIDI controller via the USB connection...

If your keyboard is set up and recognized by your computer, you're already half way there.  All you need do is make sure that the keyboard is listed as the recording input device in Window control panel (Sounds...) and in the program settings in MMM ('Y' key, Audio/MIDI tab).

But then, you must go into your Casio keyboard's settings and set it to Local Off so that it will act as a MIDI controller.  This will turn off the sound coming from the piano.

Good luck!
