Activation not responding

when i purchased MM15 premium download, i followed the instructions for my download and content. when i openned it, it was the trail version. i did not order or want the trial version. when i check my registered products, it list both MM15 premium download and MM15 premium download trail. i was only directed to the trial download content. and when i put in my activation code and click activate, nothing happens. it just sits there doing nothing. it won't even show me where i can download service pack 2,3 and 4. i try to get a new code but the new code, but MM15 says it's not valit and the old code shows up in the box but still won't work or even click in. i really would like to enjoy my MM15. can anyone help me with this problem.

ps: i didn't mean to be so long, but i had to specify so that anyone reading this would know that i paid for the MM15 premium and not the trial version.

I recently bought MM15 Premium download too.

You would have got the e-mail which is a receipt of your puchase and with it comes the activation code.

When you first install MM15 DL Prem it will be the trial version. It will say that in the title. Reboot PC then open MM15

In the splash screen click on "Activation" it wil open a new splash screen where you get to enter the activation code. Type this in manually rather than cut & paste.

It will then register the the code and download a small file called wise.ini. Let that install automatically

Reboot PC and start MM15 again. The word "trial" should dissapear from the title
If everything worked ok. the splash screen will appear with a link where to download the content packs (they are not patches)

See my reply under the other thread. Overly intrusive and restrictive security software clearly seems to be at work here (or some kind of defect). Especially some of the bigger names (McAfee, Norton) seem to be notorious for this.

I'm running Free AV on two of my systems and F-Prot on the other one (plus Zone Alarm as firewall with no additional security features active other than firewalling). I never had this kind of problem or any other issues that I could trace back to security software doing things that I don't want it to do.
