White images (logos) have a grey border on top / bottom or left right

Hello guys,

I had this issue in the past also, and now I just rendered a new video and have the same issue with jpg images inserted at the end of the video, some images have a grey border which actually it's not present in the jpg itself, only after exporting the video, and also while editing the video the border is visible, I tried to mask it with another white image that I rescaled over the logo border but that image also has some borders in the rendered video :(

This is the video link, at the end of it you will see the issue, at minute 4:11

Any ideea how to get rid of those "borders" ?

Hi

What is (are) the source(s) of the images showing the grey borders?

Have your rescaled these images - if so which program did you use?

The images are either PNG or JPG and I haven't rescaled them in any external software, only in Magix.

For one image, the third on the last row (RALIW) I used the section tool in magix as the image was square and the white background of that image was overlapping the other logo's on the above row, here are 2 images

HI

Can you post an original image to somwhere like Dropbox for us to have a look at - the images below look like they have been changed in the upload process to the forum.

Thanks

Your footer slogan inspired me :) I still had the issue with some jpg images, and I double checked there ware no grey borders in the actual images, there's an issue in magix while resizing images. But it seems , at least in the preview window, tat the problem can be fixed using chroma key / white to those logos.

Now I'm exportin the video, hope everything will be ok, in the preview window it is.

Hi

. . . .there's an issue in magix while resizing images. . . the problem can be fixed using chroma key / white to those logos . . . .

I suspect the images have an embedded colour profile which has been known to cause this problem in some image editing programs, though I have never come across it in MEP.

Cheers
