Movie edit pro MX plus capturing screen but no sound HELP?

I have captured video and sound from my pc screen before but now it simply wont work. The video capture works fine but there isno sound even though i can hear it on the usb or monitor speakers ..I have tried all the options in magix but the message that the sound levels aretoo low appear most of the time...please please help,

Hi

Are you trying to record the sound from the stereo mixer?

Have the audio drivers been updated either by yourself or with a Windows update?

If you have a Realtek sound card and Windows 7 and no stereo mixer; open up the control panel, select Sound, Recording tab, right click a blank area in the centre of the dialog and select the options as shown in this image

That did the trick!! Thank you...some update must have messed up the sound settings and removed the soundcard options...Hoorah!
