Mono or stereo recording

I'm using a blue bird microphone with a focusrie 2i2 audio interface. When I record using Magix Music Maker 2013, it plays back only in the left speaker. I've gone to advanced options in the audio menu and I checked a box that said Mono. I assumed that was what I needed to do. However, this didn't work and the recording still only came from the left speaker/ headphone.  Is there something else I should do?

There isn't any problem in your Music Maker but it is the mic. In your audio interface to record in stereo you have to use two mic. I also got audio interface and had the same problem but I found in the Music Maker after recording Mono we can convert that in to stereo. Or we can copy the mono recording on another track and when we will play it will be stereo. We can also make changes via Mixer.

Right now I am not on my computer therefore could not guide but if you right click on the mono track or use mixer menu you could find about stereo.

Later I might add further information.
